People argue about the best emulator for many consoles, but for PSP games I have never seen anyone pick anything other than PPSSPP. Control mapping, sharper visuals, post-processing, advanced settings, stability, speed, and accuracy are all top tier. This is easily the definitive way to play PSP titles on mobile.

A shining example of clean, thoughtful development. This is not just among the better emulators available — it feels like one of the most polished apps on any platform. You do not even need a flagship phone to run it well. If ratings went to six stars, it would deserve that too. Also appreciate the recent Retro Achievements support.

The emulator itself is decent, but performance has been very inconsistent for me. I mainly play Tekken 5 DR and Tekken 6, and both stutter heavily on certain stages — sometimes to the point where matches are unplayable. I tried every graphics and speed setting on a capable device and the lag persists. Not sure if other titles behave the same way.

Huge thanks to the team for PPSSPP and the online multiplayer mode — it really brought PSP gaming back. One wish though: please add voice chat. Typing mid-match feels impossible; by the time I warn teammates about an enemy, the round is already over. Voice would make co-op smoother and much more fun, like modern online titles. Keep up the great work!

Best download I have made in years. Back in 2006 I owned a handheld console packed with great titles like wrestling and fighting games. I lost the device somewhere and thought those memories were gone. Then I found this app and everything changed — I can replay my favorites again. Pure nostalgia, and the developers deserve every bit of praise for this masterpiece.

Hands down the finest emulator I have ever tried. Runs smoothly, the interface is intuitive, and there are plenty of customization options. I cannot see myself switching to anything else for PSP titles. Planning to grab the Gold edition because the developers clearly earned support for all this effort.

Easily the top PSP emulator available. Performance stays silky even on modest hardware, with broad game support and loads of useful tools built in.

Works brilliantly on mid-range and flagship phones, though entry-level models may struggle with frame rates. Would love preset control layouts you can swap with one tap instead of retuning buttons for every unsupported title.

Exactly what I needed. I record gameplay often, and finding out you can hide the overlay plus play with a wireless controller completely changed how I use the app.

Ad-hoc multiplayer has gotten worse lately. It used to run smoothly without crashes or lag, but now sessions feel unstable. I'd really prefer going back to the older ad-hoc connection method.
